Clear documentation about AVCHD file structure?

Hello,
first, thanks for this powerful tool. It is also quite well documented on http://multiavchd.deanbg.com/tutorial.php. I dare however make some suggestions.

At the end of the compilation, multiAVCHD gives instruction how to copy the files, e.g. for optical drive, "burn the content of xxx:/AVCHD in UDF 2.5/2.6".
Does it mean the first directory on DVD should be BDMV, or better AVCHD and then BDMV?
let s call my dvd drive "G", it should be g:\AVCHD\BDMV\... or g:\BDMV ?
For SDHC card, the AVCHD directory should be copied in a private folder after formating the card with panasonic tool, so g:\PRIVATE\AVCHD\BDMV\... ?
It is sometimes confuse. I think it would be great to have a clear explanation of the awaited structure, e.g. a screenshot in the documentation / user guide.

Besides, for SDHC, there is 3 compiling options. In the tutorial, it seems that the viera setting are the most restrictive one, with the difference to blu ray player "Content restrictions (PAL/NTSC and 1080i/1080p forced resolution)". What does "forced resolution" exactly mean? Further in the tutorial, it is written "Use 1080i to 'trick' the player to accept your non-AVCHD resolution videos."
So, non AVCHD std resolution internally and somehow 1080i "externaly" for the TV? If I prepare such a card, it should be playable on blu ray player too. Is it possible that some video won't play in the BD player with viera setting but with panasonic BD setting? In other words, may the "forced resolution" prevent some video to be played?

Finally, the software update are impressive, with ~ one new build per day. At end user, is is recommended to update each time? I mean, how can it be ensured that a newer build are doing the job as least as good as the former builds? Some change log will be good, as it was sometimes the case with v2.6+.

I think I've already answered most of these questions @ doom9 thread, but here we go again:

Log messages in multiAVCHD are clear enough I think and you should not wonder if/or/if.

Output folder structure for optical media (DVD or BD-R/RE) with drive name X:

X:\BDMV

For USB/MemoryStick:

X:\AVCHD\BDMV

For SDHC/MMC cards:

X:\PRIVATE\AVCHD\BDMV

Panasonic Viera options are especially for Viera and this mode is restricted - yes, there is no other way. Using force fps/resolution options change only certain things in MPL/CPI fields so Viera would accept the AVCHD video if it is unsupported. These changes should not affect a Panasonic BD player if the same card is used both in TVs and BD players.

Change log - There is a complete change log in the sticky thread, as there was in multiAVCHD post #1 @ doom9.

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1

Most build updates are related to new features, but some introduce problems. User decides if to update or not. I wouldn't know if a bug is present until someone reports it, and even more, I wouldn't release a new build if I know there are bugs in it.

multiAVCHD evolves rapidly and changes by the hour, not by day or week. If you have a build that works for your 100% - do not update. I do not support older builds, so it's up to multiAVCHD users.

thank you for your fast answer. It is actually because these questions are quite often asked that I suggested to put this clear answer in the user guide...
