[20/10/2009] build 710 - Automatic PAL->NTSC slowdown and NTSC->PAL speedup for Viera PAL/NTSC modes, eliminating the need of transcoding.

********

Build 708:

[16/10/2009] build 708 - New options in Menu/Thumbnail, changed call to 64bit x264, fix for SD_VIDEO output for Viera modes when no audio is present in input VOB/MPEG files.

2 options in Menu tab / XMB :

[x] Do not show language IDs
[x] Expand language IDs

1 option in "Subtitles & Audio" tab

Set undetected audio and subtitle language IDs to: [und]

***

First two options are for XMB menu only. In previous versions you would only see: Audio: DTS 6ch or Subtitles: 2 tracks. With these new options you can configure XMB to show:

(if "expand LID" option is used)
Audio: English (DTS 6ch), French (AC3 6ch)
Subtitles: 2 tracks (English, French)

(if "expand LID" option is NOT used)
Audio: Eng (DTS 6ch), Fra (AC3 6ch)
Subtitles: 2 tracks (Eng, Fra)

The last option will force multiAVCHD to use the entered language id (default is und) if subtitles or audio tracks do not contain language information.

*******

Build 707:

* [x] Use 64 bit version of x264 encoder option in Settings tab. It will be available if you have x264_64bit.exe in tools folder (it is included in the last full download).

* [x] Use drop shadow (THM) option Menu tab - affects "Thumbnail menu"

* Fix for DVD subtitle processing when transcoding a DVD title with resize option. Subtitles are now properly resized to match the new resolution.

*******

Build 706+

* New option (in Settings tab):

[x] Use FFms2 instead of Directshow

The option is available if you have ffms2.dll in your tools folder. Download of the dll is available here as a self-extractable 7z - extract it in your multiAVCHD tools folder: http://rapidshare.com/files/288117724/ffms2.exe

Using this option will make multiAVCHD use ffmpeg/ffms2 for preview in title properties / transcode windows and for transcoding. When FFms2 is used, avisynth bypasses your installed codecs/codecpacks/directshowfilters. It means that even if you don't have proper codecs installed (or no codecs at all) - transcode/preview should still work. Basically you need only avisynth (and haali splitter if input files are mpeg-ts/ps or ogg) - nothing else.

The only downsize of using it is that it requires one-time full-reindexing of the input file (usually when you open title properties). It may take up to 2-3 minutes, depending on the duration of your video file.

******

Build 703-706:

[23/09/2009] build 703 - Extended support for DTS-HD (Master audio) when creating audioBD/audioAVCHD (compilation with audio titles) + tv-room preview while muxing mp4/mkv files :)
[25/09/2009] build 704 - Additional options/changes/fixes for audio compilations audioBD/audioAVCHD
[01/10/2009] build 705 - readSUP (SUP subtitle resize - CLI tool) and textST (extract textST streams from m2ts files - CLI tool) added in full download.
[02/10/2009] build 706 - multiAVCHD.dat update required. Removed build expiration. All builds after 705 will never expire!

******

Build 701-702:

* GUI changes and few fixes
* font size option for title names/info in Menu tab (XMB, CLI, CAR menu styles)
* font options for all resolutions merged into one box
* more options and changes in Author, Menu, Subtitles and Settings tabs

* Fixed bugs for advanced subtitle processing for 25fps, 29.97fps and 59.94fps (thanks to drpaulng)

* External and Internal audio tracks are merged into one property-box

* [x] Post-process SRT/SSA option added in Author tab. It will use BDsup2sub for reprocessing of the final SUP/PGS subtitles muxed into the video, using proper and compliant subtitle resolutions (720x480, 720x576, 1280x720, 1440x1080 and 1920x1080). Option is turned by default and will fix the bug in tsMuxeR, which causes it to put PAL 576i subtitles at the wrong offset (same as for 480i videos).

*****

Build 687:

[19/08/2009] build 687 - One-click all-titles transcode and fit-to-any-media button [fit all] in media tab. XMB main title-scroll is now movable.

Build 686:

You can now load playlists (BDMV/AVCHD) (Blu-ray backups) and transcode them. This feature allows you to create movie-only back-ups (+extras as separate titles) quite easily, while giving you the option to add/remove/change audio, subtitles, chapters + changing framerate, resolution, hard-burned subtitles, or whatever you decide and finally get a menu to navigate the new output. Also it is quite easy to 'convert' a Blu-ray disc backup to HD-DVD in just one click.

[13/08/2009] build 681 - Real-time transcode preview. Crop/un-crop fixes and improvements. Chapter/menu gerneration real-time preview.
[13/08/2009] build 682 - One-click HD-DVD authoring. As simple as add files, click Start, click HD-DVD :)

Build 673-675:

[09/08/2009] build 673 - Changes in "Transcode" (former Uncrop) menu and some optimizations related to HD-DVD output/compatibility.
[10/08/2009] build 675 - x264 updated to 1198, uncropMKV updated to 1.1.
[10/08/2009] build 675 - Menu generation is rewritten to compensate new version of x264. "Frame border" is now available for Slide and Carousel menus, too.

Builds 668-671:

[07/08/2009] build 671 -
* If "Poster frame" is used - the next time you open "title properties" preview will show the position selected as "poster frame"
* Fixed a possible bug for audio conversion (AAC) - audio not converted to 48000hz
* You can now import and transcode WMV(HD) files
* HD-DVD conversion gets audio copied to source-file folder for later re-use

[06/08/2009] build 670 - HD-DVD authoring now works 100%. Few minor fixes.
[02/08/2009] build 668 - Support for HD-DVD output, compatible with Toshiba A3 HD-DVD player. AAC in mkv/mp4 gets additional encoding attempt after faad failure.

* Polish translation included in the full download package and updated German/Italian/French

********

Build 634:

True CLI mode for multiAVCHD_CLI.exe included in FULL DOWNLOAD package. It will behave as a normal CLI application, but will show the GUI while processing. CLI version will not be updated by auto-update.

* Added CLI support (command line interface) to multiAVCHD.exe
* Added stand-alone CLI executable - multiAVCHD_CLI.exe (in full download)

Syntax:

multiAVCHD.exe /ps3|viera|vieraPAL|vieraNTSC|panasonic|avchd|bluray [/nomenu] [/nowelcome] [/addAVCHD] [/destination folder_name] input_files

or

multiAVCHD_CLI.exe /ps3|viera|vieraPAL|vieraNTSC|panasonic|avchd|bluray [/nomenu] [/nowelcome] [/addAVCHD] [/destination folder_name] input_files

Options explained:

/ps3 - same as using Playstation3 output
/viera - same as using VieraTV (PAL) output
/vieraPAL - same as using VieraTV (PAL) output
/vieraNTSC - same as using VieraTV (NTSC) output
/panasonic - same as using Panasonic Blu-ray players SDHC output
/avchd - same as using AVCHD for optical media
/bluray - same as using Blu-ray for BD-R/RE output mode

If none of these 5 is used, multiAVCHD will not go into auto-processing mode.

/nomenu - no top menu will be created (ignored in /viera and /panasonic modes)
/nowelcome - no welcome screen will be created (ignored in /viera and /panasonic modes)

/addAVCHD - will create AVCHD folder inside the folder you set for DESTINATION
/destination folder_name - output folder for your compilation. If doesn't exist it will be created.

Using either /destination F:\PRIVATE\AVCHD or /addAVCHD /destination F:\PRIVATE will result in the same outcome - F:\PRIVATE\AVCHD will contain your BDMV folder.

input_files - you can add file_names and folder_names at the end of the command line. They will be added.

The simplest call in auto mode could look like this (for multiAVCHD.exe and multiAVCHD_CLI.exe):

* multiAVCHD.exe /ps3 movie.mkv (for any file)
* multiAVCHD.exe /ps3 M:\VIDEO_TS\ (for any DVD folder)
* multiAVCHD.exe /ps3 R:\XYZ\multiAVCHD.mpf (for multiAVCHD project file)
* multiAVCHD.exe /ps3 Z:\Series\24\ M:\VIDEO_TS\ d:\test\movie.mkv r:\dvd\VTS_01_0.IFO (folder with files + DVD Disc + file + largest DVD title import)

Loading a project file overrides all, but you can use:

* multiAVCHD.exe /ps3 R:\XYZ\multiAVCHD.mpf M:\XYR\multiAVCHD.mpf "D:\test\my project.mpf"

and all three projects will be loaded (merged) and processed... Too many variations exist, so you can ask if you need help.

If no /nomenu /destination /nowelcome options are used, output (destination) along with all other options will be used from the .ini file (the way you see the settings in the GUI).

Output mode parameter (/ps3 in this case) is mandatory. If not present (i.e. none of these: /ps3 /viera /panasonic /avchd /bluray) - multiAVCHD will use normal interactive mode and multiAVCHD_CLI.exe will exit with ERROR message.

If multiAVCHD.exe is called from a batch file (.bat / .cmd), batch file will continue it's execution immediately following the call to multiAVCHD.exe - i.e. it won't wait for it to compete and exit - hence the 'semi-cli' functionality.

If multiAVCHD_CLI.exe is used in batch file, batch file will wait for multiAVCHD_CLI to finish and then will continue forward with next batch commands - this is a true-CLI functionality.

********

Build 627/627+

* Fixed wrongly identified audio track IDs, causing tsmuxer to lock or "tsmuxer didn't like..." message
* 2 options added in tsMuxeR tab:

[x] Insert sequence parameter sets (contSPS)
[x] Insert enhancement information (insertSEI)

Do not uncheck these two if you do not understand their functions and meaning.

Unchecking the second (insertSEI) helps processing of:
* .ts files with H.264 video and AC3/DTS audio created by FinalCut Pro, or
* .ts files renamed to .trp with H.264/MPEG-2 video and MPEG/AC3/DTS audio created by FinalCut Pro
