First of all Excellent work with this.
I've used popBD to burn BD5 and BD9 which already say BD5 or BD9 Movies to DVD+R and they work great.

Only problem is I've tried to convert MKV movie file which are non AVCHD to a BD5 or BD9 but when i try to play it on a Sony S350, the picture is fine on left side of the screen but on the right you get a sort of shadow or reflection/interlaced.

Any solutions would be appreciated.

If the resolution is not compliant... you may get problems/artifacts... You can always transcode your video with multiAVCHD or uncropMKV.
