Thanks, M!

I'm glad you find multiAVCHD an app worth to donate for!

Your welcome Dean.. and yep, disabling advanced subtitle processing seems to have solved the problem on the project I first posted about too - thanks.

Hi Dean, thank you for making such a great program, I've encoded various AVCHD movies to play on my Panasonic DB30 with it. Now I'm getting a very similar error to the one yolkiepolkie was talking about:

Thank you.

Such problems are related to broken MKV files or broken subtitles inside a MKV. If you load your file in tsMuxeR_GUI and process it - you'll see the actual error.

Hi Dean, how are you?; thanks for the help, I did the opposite: I added subtitle processing (I never use it), and it worked I could encode the movie successfully.
I'll watch it later hopefully it'll work fine, I won't be using the subtitles since the movie is in Spanish/English and I'm from Mexico so I just included them as an option on the disc.
By the way; i just upgraded to v4.0, what's the difference between strict and relaxed AVCHD encoding, and which should I be using for playing them on my Panasonic BD30 (v3.0 didn't have these options), I never put menus on the movies.
Thank you!

At the moment Panasonics won't play "AVCHD relaxed" output with motion menus and stuff. Should you create a menu then you'll need to stick with 'strict' mode. I'll be adding chapters and other stuff to this mode next days.

If you don't use menus it doesn't matter which option (of these two) you'll use.

About subtitle processing... it is always good to enable the option, since it fixes some subtitles, which tsMuxeR can't handle and can lead to problems like yours.

Thank you Dean, so I should stick to strict even if I don't add a menu to the compilation right?

I edited my post... it doesn't matter if you don't use a menu :) but when using DVD media and Panasonic player you should always use the 'strict' button in later versions/builds.
